Hi! I’m Chelsea and I was born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. I love sushi, Starbucks, and anime! I graduated from the University of Hawaii Manoa with a bachelor’s degree in Second Language Studies. I have been teaching English since 2016. My goal is to help students have fun with English!
Julian K. / Instructor
How’s it going! My name is Julian, and I have been teaching English since 2018. I also tutored students in history and English while I was in high school (2009-2013). I play guitar and sing as a hobby, and write music to pass the time.
My method of teaching is through activities and singing, to keep the mind busy and your energy high and focused .
We , at Knock Knock, hope to see you soon !
Kent O. / Instructor
Hi, I’m Kent born and raised in Auckland New Zealand and I moved to Japan at the start of 2022. I feel New Zealand is very different from Japan, and there is a lot to enjoy about both countries. I am very passionate about teaching English as it can give students the chance to travel overseas in the future and experience these differences. My hobbies include snowboarding, video creation, hosting events and visiting different restaurants as the food in Japan is so good.
Isaias D. / Instructor
I have been teaching English in Japan since 2017.
I like to have fun and engaging lessons where everyone can enjoy and also learn and improve their English skills.
In my free time I like to play soccer and video games.
Evyn B. / Instructor
Hello! I’m Evyn and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I’ve been in Japan since March of 2022. I’m currently a full-time Japanese language student and work at Knock Knock English. I have a degree in Journalism-Public relations and I am planning on getting my master’s degree in Education next year, here in Tokyo.
When I was younger, I was in the US Army and also worked on an ambulance as an Emergency Medical Technician. I really love Japan and feel a sense of accomplishment from being able to teach Japanese people English.
I have many hobbies and likes but I especially love baseball, pizza and photography. Nice to meet you!
Gary O. / Instructor
I love working with young children, and gained a qualification and 6 years of experience in early childhood education in England before moving to Japan. I've been teaching English to Japanese kindergarteners for over 8 years and it's still such a joy to interact with them each day.
During classes I get a feel for each child's interests and level of ability, and try my best to continue to develop their skills with fun activities and games, and at playtime I always join in!
In my free time I love going to live music shows, reading books and comics, cooking (and eating!) and video games.
Gabriela M. / Instructor
I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, and have been learning languages all my life. I grew up speaking Spanish at home but have used English and French in school since the first grade! I earned a bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a focus on foreign languages in the U.S.A.
I love teaching languages because I can relate to my students’ struggles when learning a new language, and can hopefully help them confidently use their new language skills.
In my free time, I love walking around the city with my husband, reading a book, and spending time at cafes and museums.
英会話スクール（Knock Knock English)があるオフィスで事務を担当しております。長い間、輸出入の仕事に携わってきましたが、縁あってI am here !!
I was in London for one year and two month so please talk to me in English.
カトヴィツェ (ポーランド) 出身
Hello, my name is Mariusz but everyone calls me Mario. I'm Polish and my hometown is a very old and historical city called Bedzin which was created almost 700 years ago. Before I moved to Japan I was a chief electrical engineer in England and studied English at Leeds University (same University as Princess Kako, granddaughter of Emperor Akihito).
Now I'm a freelance video maker so sometimes you can see me in Japanese TV shows like Cool Japan or MIracle City. In my free time I watch movies and play games.
